BREIZH: A MOMENT OF SYMBOLIC TIT FOR TAT

Some stolen signs of the city of Tulle reappear in Brittany

People from Brittany , Alsace , Savoy , the Basque Country met in Tulle in the centre of France in order to remove entrance to town signs and send them to their respective countries. Signs were displayed in Brittany on 30 June, 2015 in quiet gatherings.

BUGALED BREIZH LEAGUE SEND CORRESPONDENCE TO CORONER

The Celtic League has written to the Coroner for Cornwall following news that she may undertake an enquiry into the loss of the fishing vessel MFV Bugaled Breizh off the Lizard in January 2004.

The League enclosed information they believe may be helpful to the Coroner (see below);

ROYAL NAVY FINALLY RESPOND ON SUB/MFV SAFETY

The United Kingdom Ministry of Defence has responded to our query about adherence to IMO safety rules (relating to fishing trawlers) by Royal Navy submarines. However their reply leaves several questions unanswered.

We wrote to all NATO countries and the Russian Federation in January asking what steps they took to ensure submariners complied with IMO resolution A709 (17) and asked if specific training was given.

Kernow: Westminster Parliamentary Boundary matters - No to 'Devonwall'

Following a reminder, the Kernow Branch has received a reply to a letter sent to the Boundary Commission regarding the possibility of a cross border Westminster Constituency between Cornwall and Devon, England.

The advice from Cornwall’s MPs was to write to the Boundary Commission stating that the cross border constituency was very much a matter for that body.

KERNOW: MONARCHY ARROGANCE CAUSES CORNISH IRE

Many residents of Cornwall continue to receive official notices from the Duchy of Cornwall and the Land Registry informing them of applications by the Duchy to register mining and mineral rights.

The reason for this correspondence from both the Duchy and Land Registry is given as a change in the law.
