'The Destruction of Cornwall' - a documentary

Branded 'the sinister underbelly of Cornish nationalists' by one Lib Dem Cornwall Councillor, a Councillor who accused this very group of being 'xenophobes' when we write expressing concerns about the bullying of Cornish people, this locally made documentary looks behind the headlines and reveals the true frustrations felt by a people not being properly represented by their elected representatives and who are subjected to ignorance and contempt by politicians at all levels:

Bellygate update-even more astonishing revelations!

Two bellies identified - neither emailed to Councillor by belly owners!

Further to our earlier release made at 20:17 hours 28th August, 2019, a further revelation has occurred in respect of 'Bellygate'.

No names, no packdrill but a communication has been received by our campaign group, 'Kernow Matters To Us' (KMTU) which identifies the owner of the second 'belly' which Cornwall Councillor Dulcie TUDOR (Lib Dem) Threemilestone & Gloweth stated to journalists and various media outlets had been emailed to her and had caused her distress.

Bellygate & Councillor Dulcue Tudor-more questions than answers?

Firstly, we clearly and openly say that we at 'Kernow Matters To Us' do not condone or in any way support nasty, offensive or threatening images or emails sent to any individual, yet alone members of Cornwall or other Councils or public authorities.

CONIFA WORLD FOOTBALL CUP QUALIFIER - Bodmin Priory Park - Sunday 25th August, 2019

Kernow FA v Chagos Islands

A win in this international game for our national football team, Kernow FA! Keslowena Kernow! (Congratulations Cornwall!)

With the final score 10-3 to Kernow, this international match saw a commanding performance by the Cornish lads.

That said, both sides played a gentlemanly, fair and energetic game, lacking in any of the amateur dramatics seen when many other teams play.

There is an interesting article from the Celtic League which points out that next month marks the 70th anniversary of the (4th) Geneva Convention which is the International Convention covering humanitarian treatment in war. A series of events are being held in regard to this anniversary by the Irish Red Cross. Interestingly they are having a talk on ‘the Irish Geneva Convention’ an ancient treaty dating from the 7th Century Cáin Adomnáin, or ‘Law of Innocents’, promulgated in Birr, Co. Offaly in 697AD.

Isle of Man: The Southern Agricultural Show Ploughs on Regardless of the Weather

Held at the Great Meadow estate by kind permission of Mr & Mrs Riggall, this year's Southern Agricultural Show was once again plagued by demanding weather conditions, but organisers carried on regardless - with a few re-adjustments to the programme.

A much respected annual show, its well supported from across the Island and beyond but despite the necessity of adapting its schedule to suit a more contemporary audience, has retained its core values of agriculture and rural life.

'It's so last century' Britain sends a gunboat - even if it is obsolete!

Curious little news item here from Manx Radio which interviews a ships officer on HMS Mersey which is apparently now in the Irish Sea on ‘Fishery Protection’ duties:

The vessel was previously in the Channel on anti-migrant patrols. So why the pre Brexit deployment to these waters now and why visit Mann who have their own Fishery protection vessel to cover the Manx territorial sea area?
