Breach of Council Code of Conduct Found Proven - Cornwall Councillor Dulcie Tudor (Lib Dem) Threemilestone

Following eleven written official complaints lodged, including one by 'Kernow Matters To Us' (KMTU), a breach of the Code of Conduct has been proven against Cornwall Councillor Dulcie Tudor (Lib Dem) Threemiletone.

In a Decision Notice received from Cornwall Council dated 20th August, 2019, it is stated that the Monitoring Officer having considered all evidence submitted found Cllr Tudor to be in breach of the following articles of the Code of Conduct:

IAEA pressed on Hunterston restart safety case

The Celtic League have written to the IAEA (Acting) Secretary General Cornel Feruta asking if the UN nuclear safety agency endorses a decision of the UK ONR to relax safety rules to allow Hunterston Power Station to be restarted:

Hunterston: Astonishing decision by UK nuclear safety regulator

News from the Celtic League:

The UK Nuclear regulator the ONR is to allow Hunterston B nuclear power plant to restart the plant had been taken out of drive because of cracking in the reactor core. However astonishingly the decision is not because the reactor is safe but because the regulator has allowed the safety margins to be relaxed.

Previously operational cracking was not allowed to exceed 350 axillary cracked bricks bit this allowance has now been DOUBLED to 700.

The provincial government of Nova Scotia is advertising for teaching staff "with a high level of proficiency in the Gaelic language". The Strait School Board, who are offering the positions, have a catchment area roughly contiguous with the Gaelic speaking heartlands of northern Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Island. Located in the northeastern part of Nova Scotia, the Centre's jurisdiction encompasses an area of approximately 11,000 square kilometers with a population of 54,972. 

Action Urged by Donegal Councillor - Destroy English Road Signs in the Donegal Gaeltacht

The website "Journal.ie" reports on a radical call to action.  "A Donegal Councillor has said he encourages people to spray paint over English translations on signs in the Gaeltacht region he represents. Speaking to TheJournal.ie,councillor Micheal Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig said that he refused to “condemn anyone who takes action to draw attention to the dying breaths of the Gaeltacht” and said he saw the actions as criticism of the government’s failure."
