Bellygate update-even more astonishing revelations!

Two bellies identified - neither emailed to Councillor by belly owners!

Further to our earlier release made at 20:17 hours 28th August, 2019, a further revelation has occurred in respect of 'Bellygate'.

No names, no packdrill but a communication has been received by our campaign group, 'Kernow Matters To Us' (KMTU) which identifies the owner of the second 'belly' which Cornwall Councillor Dulcie TUDOR (Lib Dem) Threemilestone & Gloweth stated to journalists and various media outlets had been emailed to her and had caused her distress.

As with the first 'belly' photograph, the second photograph had been posted on to social media but HAD NOT been emailed by its owner to Councillor TUDOR.

The photograph which revealed nothing more of the human form than can be seen on a beach or even back garden in the summer and which is not indecent in any way, was posted on social media AFTER Councillor TUDOR's 'sinister underbelly of Cornish nationalists' remark was used by her to attack dignified and peaceful protestors outside Cornwall Council expressing their concerns over the massive and destructive programme of housebuilding occurring in the Duchy at this time.

This remark made on air to BBC Radio Cornwall was repeated several times by that 'Radio Station'.

The owner of the photograph has expressed disgust and is appalled that this photograph was used by Councillor TUDOR in an attempt to justify her vile remarks made against innocent members of the Cornish National Minority.

The identities of all those who have been in communication with KMTU will remain strictly confidential, including those who have received unpleasant and impolite emails for the Councillor, but we are now assured of many facts since Councillor TUDOR's outburst which caused huge upset and for which she has openly and publicly refuse to apologise despite a finding of two breaches of Cornwall Council's Code of Conduct being established against her.

KMTU has also been in receipt of an email from another Councillor member of the Liberal Democrats expressing his full support for Councillor TUDOR. Presumably, that individual fully supports her very public refusal to apologise for her breaches of the Code. We therefore ask whether that Councillor might also be in breach of the Code himself?

Whether members of Cornwall Council choose to accept it or not, there is enormous concern in our Duchy at the destructive and unsustainable so called 'development' occurring, a house building programme which creates homes far beyond the reach of local people, which massively increase population levels, which causes pollution and which place unmanageable burdens on our public services which importantly includes Treliske Hospital.

KMTU also notes that despite Councillor TUDOR's disparaging outburst on the BBC, nationalists are in government in Scotland, participate in the Welsh Government and also take part in the democratic process in Cornwall. There is a world of difference between these civic nationalists and those of the English far right kind. Further, despite being branded as 'xenophobic' by Councillor TUDOR in her email sent to us, our particular group has a patriotic pride in our motherland of Kernow and cares for it and the welfare of its people.

Understanding that Councillor TUDOR has appealed the decision made against her, we call for a public apology from her and are content having seen the evidence and carefully considered it, that no 'Cornish Nationalist' had ever sent photographs of their 'bellies' to her.
