'Prince Mo' and the Manx connection!

Prince Mohammed bin Salman seems pretty laid back for a guy who is in the eye of a storm. But I suppose when you can afford to splash out $300 million for a French Chateau you think you are pretty much untouchable.

That’s just what he did in 2015 and the attached Irish Times article says the purchase was concealed andl how platoons of lawyers, bankers and accountants in Germany, Bermuda and the Isle of Man helped facilitate this and other transactions:

Obviously, ‘Mo’ as I’ll call him, was cracking down on corruption in the Kingdom. He was concerned he wouldn’t have enough left to buy planes and bombs to kill folk in Yemen if everyone had a Chateau.

On the other hand he may just have been just a quiet retiring sort of ‘guy’ a bit like an Arabian equivalent of our HNWI ‘Shy Ronnie’.

It makes you wonder though what other Manx business activities are linked to the blood stained hands of the House of Saud.

Still if banks or legal practices here are linked to business with the House of Saud they should in my view reappraise their connections in case Saudi 'Consular Services' drop in on their corporate jet with a bone saw (see graphic)!
