Manx Gas report delay anger

Report here on Manx Radio about the delayed Manx Gas report. Leader of the Manx Gas protest group Barry Murphy cannot contain his anger and disappointment with government over this issue which has seen people enduring another winter of outlandish charges:

I’m surprised quite frankly that Barry has to be the lead on this issue after all he is a young man with a living to make and virtually every MHK has constituents impacted by this utility hike they are paid to be looking after. Why are they not speaking out have they forgotten all those promises made on the doorstep. Amnesia it seems is a requirement for Office in Tynwald!

Also disappointed that what should have been the lead item on Mandate - as folk dread the bill hitting the doorstep - was shunted to the early part of the hour with the lead (after 8 am) slot reserved for what I can only describe as a Party Political Broadcast for COMIN delivered albeit slightly incoherently by embattled Treasury Minister, Alfred Cannan MHK.
