Message from the organisers of Guldize 2013, the Cornish harvest festival:
Following a break in 2012 the celebration of Guldize, The Cornish Feast Day at the end of the Harvest, returns to Penzance.
I am writing to invite you to the event which this year will be held on Saturday 28th of September 2013.
As in previous years we will meet at the Yacht Inn at around 7.45 - Processing at 8pm to the Admiral Benbow - This is very, very informal and usually takes about 5 minutes. Once at the Benbow will have a mix of singing, dancing and music. This will followed by a produce raffle which this year will raise money for Children's Hospice South West.
In past years people have dressed up in Autumn colours and seasonal foliage, but normal kit is fine.
Please bring musical instruments if you have them to either play music on the short procession or join in at the Admiral Benbow.
Please also bring produce of any kind for the raffle, this can be left in the upstairs room of the Benbow during the day of the 28th.
I hope you can join us for this event and please could you pass this message to any organisations which you are a member of by forwarding this message to them.
Kind Regards
