Lamorna (Nansmornow) is a fishing village and cove on the Penwith Peninsula about four miles south of Penzance and southwest along the coast from Mousehole. It was popular with Newlyn artists.
Our visit
The village of Lamorna has long been associated with artists and writers. This small fishing village, set within Lamorna Cove on the Penwith peninsula has a special atmosphere. The entrance to the harbour is protected by the curving stone pier. On the day of our visit the cove had a dark brooding feel. Lamorna is definitely worth visiting.
