Minister Allan’s visit to the heartland of the Gaelic language beachhead in North America included an announcement on the start of a scholarship program funding Gaelic speakers in Cape Breton to visit Scotland and study Gaelic at the expense of Edinburgh.

This truth comes out after they tried to pretend to the Scottish voters at the time of the referendum on independence that they were very loyal and proud Scots! However, at the time they were stabbing Scotland in the back by opposing a free and independent Scotland.

Members of the Mannin branch of the Celtic League met with colleagues from Mec Vannin earlier this week and agreed to progress an initiative to establish a National Commemorations Organisation.

The principles outlined for the new group were as follows:

Object: to set up an independent organisation to promote the memory of significant contributors to Manx Nationalism and Culture.
