Howard and Chris meet 'Peter and Jane'

With a woeful sense of irony the Chief Minister launches a survey into zero hours contracts however in actual fact it's one of those inept Peter and Jane type fill in questionnaires much beloved of MInister Chris Thomas MHK:

Now before anyone gets all ‘arsey’ and says I have always got it in for Howard and Chris I beg to differ. In a COMIN of ‘none of the talents’ they are positively the only shining lights.

Chris with his desire for knowledge would undoubtedly spend every spare hour in the Library of Alexandria or the Library of Pergamum if they still existed. Pergamum is said to have housed 200,000 scrolls that would have kept a few of those ludicrous PAG meetings going for years.

However Pergamum is no more and Chris feels the need to fill the void by creating these ludicrous surveys of meaningless drivel for which the end result is just the same - it will be just what the Chamber of Commerce ordered.

For his part Howard (our Chief Executive) is so positive and avuncular how could one not like him. It is has certainty that gives me sleepless nights - that and his faith in this sort of mindless exercise the Cabinet Office has just launched.

‘NO ONE (thats me shouting again) believes a word of them Howard’!

It's not I hasten to add that folk think Howard is dishonest or that COMIN (with the exception of Alf) are bad it's just no one has faith in them anymore - let alone their surveys!
