Finance Sector in freefall - Maybe Skelly has a plan - That's all we need!

All the indications of the Islands continuing economic decline seem confirmed by this news item. Don’t expect any in depth analysis just the usual obfuscation from the government news machine and ‘the boys and girls on the head’:

Still it should give the ‘Chamber of Clowns’ AGM attendees something to mull over as they munch the free cheese at their AGM tomorrow. Nothing like the thought of disappearing wealth curbing their greedy plans to focus the attention of this self serving bunch!

Maybe weighing up their guest of honour Chief Minister Howard Quayle MHK they will start to conclude its perhaps time for a change. Every cloud they say has a silver lining even if in this case the only ‘silver lining’ may be for heir apparent to the COMIN throne Alf Cannan MHK. However will it be prudent for the Chamber to unseat ‘its Chief Minister’ with the Treasury boss who is presiding over the ‘End of Empire’.

Interesting times indeed! But fear not after killing off the Rally perhaps Skelly at DfE has a plan to save us - that’s all we need!
