Cornwall - Devonwall Border Protest Sunday 30th October 11:00 - 16:00 Launceston

News from Kernow Matters To Us:

DEVONWALL BORDER PROTEST SUNDAY 30TH OCTOBER 2016 11:00 - 16:00 LAUNCESTON

Ladies and gentlemen

The first border protest is being organised for the above day and times.

This is to be a peaceful and lawful event.

It is being organised by female Bards of Gorsedd Kernow with support from others.

Our Kernow Matters bus is filled already with attendees.

Several Councillors from across Cornwall are likely to be joining us.

All warmly welcomed - bring your own pasty and flask, singing voice, whistles and banners and Piran Flags.

We suggest that all other organisations who feel ill at ease with the way we are being treated - health cutbacks, library closures, public service cutbacks etc join us. After all, the blame for all this lays with Westminster.

Our bus is already fully booked but others are offering transport in their own cars. Let us know as we are helping co ordinate transport.

Several are also suggesting demonstrations at Cornwall Council in Truro when the Boundary Commission from England arrange their public consultation on Thursday 10th and Friday 11th November, 2016. We understand that all speaking places have been booked as several of our group have reserved slots. However, this is a PUBLIC HEARING. Need we say anymore?

More details on first border protest to follow. Please share this posting.

Mur ras dheugh why oll. Kernow bys vyken!
