Consultation on Draft Irish Language Bill Welcomed

NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE

The Celtic League AGM held at the headquarters of Conradh na Gaeilge in Dublin last weekend (April 10 -12th) adopted a resolution welcoming consultation announced in the North on the ‘Draft Irish Language Bill’.

A brief resolution text below was adopted unanimously by the meeting.

“Go n-éilíonn an cruinniú cinn bhliana seo Acht Gaeilge i dtuaisceart na hÉireann.

This AGM welcomes the public consultation on the Draft Irish Language Bill in the North of Ireland and calls for cross community support for it.”
