Search Engine 'DuckDuckGo' Embraces Celtic Languages

The internet search engine 'DuckDuckGo' has now included Cornish (Kernewek) in its list of languages available to users.

DuckDuckGo distinguishes itself from other search engines by not profiling its users and by deliberately showing all users the same search results for a given search term,  and emphasises returning the best results, rather than the most results, generating those results from over 400 individual sources, including crowdsourcedsites such as Wikipedia, and other search engines like BingYahoo!, and Yandex and is regarded as a very secure search engine receiving 23 million direct queries per day.

How to set 'DuckDuckGo' to Cornish (Kernewek) and other languages

Go to https://duckduckgo.com/

Go to the top corner of the 'DuckDuckGo' screen https://duckduckgo.com/settings

Select 'Language' then drop down menu 'Browser preferred langauge'

Select 'Kernewek yn Kernow'

Go to base of page and select 'Save and Exit'

Many languages are available including Breton, Gaelic and Cymraeg.
