We believe in transcelticism, in bringing the six Celtic nations closer together. This site is dedicated to increasing the awareness of the shared heritage that connects the Celtic nations.
We launched the first Transceltic website in early 2012. Our original site was pretty basic but beloved by those who visited it. It was hand coded which made it impractical to manage as the number of pages rapidly grew.
We switched to using a modern content management system. The site grew to nearly 1,000 pages of original content and was receiving record number of visitors.
We were not satisfied with just sitting on our hands though and after careful consideration decided to switch the site to an even more powerful content management system. This is where we are today. We hope you enjoy our site, which we feel is unique on the web with its inter-Celtic perspective, and perhaps you might consider getting involved.
