The Promontory People - An early history of the Cornish formally launched!

Craig Weatherhill's book (photographed below with its author), already proving to be a best seller, was launched during a packed occasion at the Red River Cafe, Heartlands, Pool, Redruth.

Francis Boutle Publishers informed that literally dozens of copies had been purchased by Cornish folks around the globe, particularly in Australia and New Zealand, as well as in North America.

The Promontory People tells the story of the now legally recognised Cornish national minority as it has never been told before. Using up-to-date archaeological, archaeo-linguistic and genetic research, Cornish patriot, author and historian Craig Weatherhill describes the history of the Cornish people from the earliest times to the Norman period and places Cornwall in the context of its wider relationships with the rest of Britain and Europe.
