‘What does Cornishness mean to you?’

In 2014 the HM government recognised the Cornish as a ‘National Minority’. After years of campaigning, that means that we are no longer regarded as English in law and now have equal status with the Scots, Welsh & Irish.

What exactly does that mean?

There is now campaign to have a Cornish tick box on the next census. Of course, many ticked 'other' and wrote in 'Cornish' last time, thousands did indeed. That was with the full encouragement of the local authorities. Additionally, more and more are now making themselves compliant with the new rights given under the Framework Convention and Cornish identity is allowed for on official forms elsewhere.

So, 'Golden Tree', creators of the fabulous 'Man Engine' have acquired a double-decker bus, kitted it out with a beer-tasting pub downstairs and a Cornish embassy upstairs, and will be coming to a location near you to find out what YOU think.
