NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE
A variety of National Facebook sites for the various branches have been under development now for two years or more. You will find links on the National branch pages to the other branch sites including our friends in Patagonia.
The GS is also working to rejuvenate our branch in Nova Scotia and together with International and the US branch that constitutes our reach outside the Celtic countries.
The main Celtic League site (celticleague.net) also carries a good archive of material going back several years. The site can be found here;
https://www.celticleague.net/news-archive/
Most of the archived material (which comes from our CL Yahoo group) can be easily accessed via the search facility.
Unfortunately the material is not fully archived before 2010 but we are working to expand this.
In addition our old 1990s internet archive can be accessed at thecelticleague.net site – the link is at the top of the archive page.
Also on celticleague.net you can access back issues of Carn the Celtic League journal – here’s the link:

PAPER RECORDS OF THE LEAGUE
While the development of the Internet has been a ‘godsend’ for communication between the Celtic countries by the League prior to the internet we built up quite a repository of records and material these include administrative correspondence but also our campaign work and a large collection of press cuttings from both National and International media about the Leagues work.
I reported briefly on some of our work in the League Memoire at last years Dublin AGM (link here):
https://www.celticleague.net/…/league-memoire-a-time-for-r…/
The two main Celtic League archives are at the National Library for Wales (Aberystwyth) and also at The Manx Museum Library (Douglas) where we have lodged quite a substantial amount of material.
Both the Leagues records in Wales and in Mann are open access to members of the public.
The Celtic League has been working to support the people of culture of the Celtic countries for well over fifty years, take an interest in and support our work by joining your National branch.
