Happy birthday Manx Radio!

Monday was the culmination of the build-up to Manx Radio's 50th anniversary.

Familiar and fondly remembered voices from the past half century joined our current presenters throughout the day.

Sunday marked 50 years to the day since the first Manx Radio broadcast.

The man who put the fader up and uttered the first words, John Grierson, joined Roger Watterson and some of the original staff on Sunday Opinion.

John Grierson was also live on Mandate on Monday morning, alongside past presenters David Callister and Charles Guard.'
