The Spiral Stone

A boulder rock decorated with spiral patterns. It is possibly late Neolithic or early Bronze Age.

Getting there

In Ballaragh, near Laxey. The site is across from a house.

• By car - Along the B11, which is off the A2. The site is on the way to King Orry's Grave from the Dhoon.
• By bus - Route no 3 which runs between Ramsey and Douglas. Get off at Dhoon and walk to the B11, which can be seen from the glen stop.
• By tram - Take the Electric Railway to Dhoon. Walk from the glen stop to the B11 and then on to the site.
