Our visit
This is a pretty fishing village. The crescent shaped beach takes you to the lifeboat station at the head of the harbour. The beach is perfect for water sports. The village carries on after the headland on which the Paris Hotel is located. Going west along the coastal footpath offers excellent views. It is an area steeped in ancient history with evidence of inhabitants from the Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age. The direct ancestors of today’s Celtic Cornish. A visit to to Coverack is highly recommended.
