Isle of Man: Unique Musical Collaboration Brings Gaelic Nations Together at the Centenary Centre in Peel

Later this month there's an opportunity to celebrate the linguistic, musical and cultural Gaelic links as one language between the sister nations at a special Manx launch at the Centenary Centre in Peel.

This unique collaboration, bringing together expressive vocals from three of the Gaelic nations as one voice, re-unites the Scottish, Irish and Manx Gaels for the first time in centuries.

Despite the unfavourable weather conditions which plagued the one hundred and twentieth anniversary celebrations of the Snaefell Mountain Railway, many people made a pilgrimage to the summit for this special occasion.

In a spectacular finale to this year's Lorient Interceltique Festival, two Manx bands swept the board in their bid for the coveted Trophée Loic Raison, topping off a special year for the Isle of Man at the annual festival in Brittany.

Billed as the Island's biggest family day out, the much anticipated Royal Manx Agricultural Show proved a resounding success, as crowds flocked to the west of the Island to enjoy this annual two-day event at Knockaloe Farm in Patrick.
