However it seems it’s a step to far for David Cameron to apologize for the destruction of the Welsh speaking community in the Tryweryn Valley evicted despite protest across Wales to make way for a dam to supply water to Merseyside.

The large Mirach 100/5 military target drone which was found on a beach on North Uist may well have been associated with the exercise but is more likely connected to the ‘QuinteQ’ missile testing range on nearby South Uist.

Rachel Hair Trio Returns to the Isle of Man

It might be three years since the Rachel Hair Trio last came to these shores, but their loyal fan base packed out the Centenary Centre in Peel to watch one of Scotland's most recognised folk bands.

Support for the evening was local duo Paul Rogers (Strengyn) and Isla Callister (Tree Cassyn) who got the concert underway with a short session of tunes with a Celtic flavour, which quickly set the tone for the concert.

The kilt makers have now created tartans for comic book superheroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk, Batman and Superman.
