Wales (Cymru) are through to the semi-finals of the 2016 UEFA European Championship (the international men's football championship of Europe). They secured a well deserved 3 - 1 victory over Belgium last night.
Belgium started well and took an early lead after a spectacular long-range shot from Radja Nainggolan. But Wales equalised before half-time through an Ashley Williams header. In the second half Hal Robson-Kanu's skillful footwork put Wales ahead. The third goal for Wales was scored by substitute Sam Vokes who headed home a well passed cross from Chris Gunter.
Wales now face Portugal in Lyon on Wednesday with hopes of gaining a place in the final. More information on last nights match can be read on the Football Association of Wales (Welsh: Cymdeithas Bêl-droed Cymru) website.
