UN CRC ACKNOWLEDGE REPORTS FROM LEAGUE

The Committee on the Rights of the Child has responded to recent submissions by the Celtic League in relation to:

1) Armed Forces recruitment of Children – United Kingdom

2) Arrests of Children – Ireland.

The text of their response is set out below:

In line with the CRC suggestions both reports and supplementary detail has been copied to Child Rights Connect. In addition a report on abuse in the Military Cadet Forces – United Kingdom sent in January 2015 (see third link below) to the CRC has been resubmitted via Child Rights Connect.
