Shame on you! Alf's 'bold deceit' peddled by the radio

Manx Radio should be ashamed to peddle this nonsense from Alf Cannan MHK and Treasury Minister:

But before anymore on that lets take time to reflect that Cannan is reacting to criticism from social media which has kept up a barrage of criticism of his and COMINS perverse ‘help the rich’ policies. He and his acolytes have had a free ride from the mainstream while you suffer. Now they deploy together to propagate myths.

Personally I will not be holding back from continuing ‘shell-fire’ on our own ‘Private Pike’ and nor should any other social media sites or commentators be deflected by this nonsense.

Bold steps what does it mean nothing because you are worse of under Alf’s regime. Eddie Teare the former Treasury Minister was the architect of this austerity strategy and while he pursued it with the encouragement of his mentor Allan Bell. Alf Cannan and Chris Thomas MHKs were constants critics of Teare and Bell. They revelled in the fact that Teare was vilified and then when in power did just exactly the same as he did.

Arguably in the three years that Alf has been running the Treasury - with the assistance of CEO Sheila Lowe who does the hard sums for him - the plight of low and middle income earners has deteriorated. I don’t buy Cannan’s ‘cheap jam’. His is a brand, like some of that home made stuff you see, that has the sugar on the top. It's a good analogy because Alfs raison d'etre is to ensure those at the top get the sugar!

This Tynwald really do ‘rob the poor to give to the rich’ and Alf should have been given a good grilling by Manx Radio not ‘a bandstand to sing his song of hope in a land of misery’.

Shame on COMIN for allowing food and fuel poverty to proliferate. Shame on Tynwald elected on a reform agenda more interested in their personal sartorial desires than the plight of the poor. Shame on Manx Radio for peddling this government's squalid lies!
