MTTV has wall to wall motorcycling but to be fair so does Manx Radio only over at IOM Today is there relief with plans for their ‘Isle of Man Awards for Excellence’. Sticking with the latter I suppose it's a tribute to the organising zeal that people can be ‘excellent’ in the face of so much Manx government indifference to suffering.
Anyway the most recent MMTV offering has Moulton and MHK Rob Callister sitting on a rather small sofa it's like a kind of cut price ‘Good Morning TV’. I muse that they make an unlikely sidecar team although even sidecar competitors don’t get that close I keep waiting for Callister to throw himself over the side of the sofa as the accompanying sound builds to a crescendo
To the accompaniment of motorcycle acoustic they talk about all that good and great about the FOM and TT brushing swifty past any mention of injury or death. It must be erie being the Minister for Sporting Fatalities I reflect:

Moulton is clear where his sympathies are he’s bedecked in TT apparel so I suppose that you can forget any thoughts of objectivity. That’s I suppose the trouble with the local media coverage of motorcycle road racing although some people hate it and other love it to death there is no objective media debate. Obviously most of the media don’t want to jeopardize a possible invite to the VIP tent.
As for me I used to loathe the TT now I just don’t care anymore!
