NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE
A breaking news report in the Belfast Telegraph has Loyalist blogger Jamie Bryson (picture) alleging that a number of people including DUP leader Peter Robinson were to benefit from £7.5 million deposited in the Isle of Man as part of the NAMA deal to sell a portfolio of properties in the North of Ireland. Bryson has appeared in front of the Stormont finance committee taking evidence about the event (see link):

Peter Robinson emphatically denies the allegations.
Given the way that this issue is developing it is long past time the Isle of Man government gave some information on how such a large and controversial deposit of funds was made in this jurisdiction given that the Isle of Man claims to have tight regulatory regimes in place including a ‘know your customer policy’.
They could perhaps also shed some transparency on what and who they believe the funds were held for.
It is becoming clear as these further allegations are made that no one in Mann knew who the ‘customer(s)’ were!
