Perros-Guirec - Perroz-Gireg

North from Lannion the D788 goes to Perros-Guirec (Breton: Perroz-Gireg) . It is on the Pink Granite Coast, with a number of sheltered beaches. Boats leave here for Sept Iles (Breton: Jentilez) which is a group of islands that are a significant bird sanctuary. The historic town centre is home to traditional seaside villas. St Jacques church is classed as a national monument and has a wooden altarpiece dating from the 17th century. There is also a wax museum close to the yacht harbour. It also on a beautiful coastline with walks along its cliffs with spectacular pink rocks.
