Some Gaelic Christmas Events on Mannin

Some news of coming Gaelic events on Mannin supplied by Adrian Cain Manx Language Development Officer Culture Vannin:

It’s the Bunscoill (Manx-language primary school) Christmas Service tomorrow night (Wednesday, 3rd) and all are welcome. The service starts at

6.30pm in the Royal Chapel in St Johns followed  by refreshments in the Methodist Hall, next door to school.  This year, the school will be selling raffle tickets at the event with the proceeds to School and Western Live At Home.  Eight separate hampers are up for grabs! It’s worth coming as it’s a great event! A Gaelic highlight of the year.

Caarjyn Cooidjagh (Manx Gaelic choir) will be singing in Gaelg on Friday 5th December, 7.30 at St Catherine’s Church in Port Erin. This short concert is free and will be followed by refreshments. Any donations will be shared between the church and ME Support IOM

Tuesday 9th December there is a Pobble meal at Patchwork in Port st Mary and all are welcome. Price is £17 and it includes tea/coffee. Time: 7.15 for 7.30pm
