NEW LOOK NATIONALIST PAPER FOR TYNWALD DAY

As Manx police spend loads of cash on ‘enhanced security’ and searching for explosive devices that don’t exist ahead of tomorrows Tynwald Day the real ‘bombshell’ will come from a very different direction.

We understand that the Manx Nationalist Party will unveil their new look Free Newspaper, ‘Yn Pabyr Seyr’.

In previous years the Nationalists have always produced a news-sheet generally a four sided A4 fold although sometimes doubled.

Tomorrows Edition, we believe, will provide 16 pages of comment, including colour and graphics. Content will be wide ranging including political, cultural and historical articles and there will also be a number of contributions in the Manx Language.

As the name says is the ‘Free Paper’ but when you pick up your copy on the way into the field at the back of the Hill (MV stand will I understand be at the entrance) please give a donation to support costs if you can.

Depending on the reception for the new publication Mec Vannin will probably continue to produce a paper of similar quality henceforth and who knows we may even see specials devoted to key events such as government budget or policy proposals!
