KPMG In The Courts - London This Time!

NEWS FROM THE CELTIC LEAGUE

Looks like KPMG just can’t stay out of Court in one jurisdiction or another.

We had the CBC revelations about KPMG Canada that’s currently in the Courts there although all has gone quiet since we heard the Canadian Revenue Commissioners were trying to do a backroom deal. That provoked our ire and a series of letters to the Canadian High Commissioner which weren’t answered until we politely told him he was a cheeky bugger!

Then there was that KPMG Northern Ireland linked episode (see link):

Now this was more mysterious than Canada because was it KPMG or just folk who worked for KPMG? Anyway that’s faded from the news for a while.

Now resident KPMG sleuth Eddie Power of the Crown Dependency website has turned up another Court room appearance for the crème de la crème of financial accountancy (see link):

It seems that life is just a legal ‘roller-coaster’ these days for the ‘suits’!

Locally of course KPMG luminaries are big-fish in the Chamber of Commerce the Manx governments ‘mates of choice’!
