Hebridean Celtic Festival In July Celebrates 20th Anniversary

The HebCelt Festival will be held on 15 to 18 July 2015 and celebrates its 20th anniversary. It takes place in the town of Stornoway (Scottish Gaelic: Steòrnabhagh) in the Outer Hebrides, also known as the Western Isles (Scottish Gaelic: Na h-Eileanan Siar). The location provides what must be one of the most spectacular backdrops of any festival in the world.

This years HebCelt Festival has an outstanding list of artists. Included in the line up of performers is the acclaimed Michigan band Lindsay Lou and the Flatbellys who recently performed at the Shetland Folk Festival. They will  showcase their latest album ‘Ionia’, named after the town in Michigan where it was recorded. Further information on other performers is on the HebCelt website.
