Guide to this year's St Piran's Festival in Redruth goes live

Get ready for a sea of black and white Cornish flags as Redruth readies to mark the the Cornish National patron saint of tinners at the 2015 St Piran’s festival.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 7, with the parade including 'St Piran' himself, local school children, Gorsedh representatives, and Cornish music taking centre stage.

The Redruth St Piran's Festival guide has been published online and is also being distributed across the town.

Choirs will lead the singing of Trelawny by the town clock at the end of the procession. Redruth Youth Council will be out on the day asking the public how they feel this year’s St Piran’s Festival has gone.

There will also be a free children’s town trail to celebrate the ‘Brewing up the Past’ project capturing the history of the former Redruth Brewery site.
